Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service is the 911 contract ambulance service provider for the towns of Clayton and Orleans in Jefferson County New York. Certification is through NYSDOH BEMS.

Our response district is over 175 square miles of mostly rural terrain and encompasses a large portion of the St. Lawrence River and multiple islands along the US/Canada border in Jefferson County, New York
We compensate Paramedics 24/7/365 and supplement our capability with paid and volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians and drivers.
1398 (2022) (911 Dispatches for service) an increase of approximately 200 calls over the previous year.
